Sales Magic numbers
What about increasing earnings by 15%? 50%? 100%? 200%? … Why not?
Here there are two options: One is based on pure mathematics (And for sure you know it), and the other option that provide you with better financial results, and even with less time applied! You chose one that better goes with your personal goals.
- First: You must go for a higher volume of sales, or / and
- Second: You must find and work a financially higher niche of prospects
Let’s review the first option:
In order to get a higher sales volume (Or raise your business to the next level):
- You must increase the sales closing ratio within your potential prospects.
- In order to close more sales, you must perform more presentations of your product and services.
- To perform more presentations, you must get more confirmed appointments from your potential prospects.
- To get more confirmed appointments, you must contact / approach a huge number of potential prospects.
Easy?... no… Difficult?... neither!
Now let’s review the second option (My favourite)
In order to capitalize a higher financially niche you must find and work one!
- First, you must consider your background, work experience, business numbers and personal goals.
- Then, find a niche that fit with your personal situation (See previous point): They could be Physicians, Engineers, Contractors, successful Outside salespersons, Lawyers, Company Directors, Accountants, Architects, Dentists, Transporters, high level Government employees, etc.
- Once you choose your niche, you must know about the specific activity for them: How they perform their job, what are the resources they count on (Locations, personnel, equipment, suppliers), how and where they find their business, how they promote their products and services, etc.
- Once gathered the above information, prepare a specific an introductory speech in order to approach them by telephone, email and face to face. For this you must consider words and expressions used by the chosen niche.
- Next step contact and approach one or two prospects per week in order to find and practice the right way and master your own system. This way, you will walk a stable transition between your current position and the wished one.
Easy?... no… Difficult…neither!
